To complete the loop staples are required and these are available in the standard boxes of 4800 staples or if you prefer, bulk boxes of 48,000 staples at a cheaper cost/staple.

This tying applicator is 4 times faster than hand tying. One light squeeze of the handle catches the tape. Releasing the handle draws the tape out so you can surround what you are tying. Finally, grip the handle firmly to staple the tape together. At the same time the tape will be cut and the unit is ready for the next tie. NOTE: Tying tape, Staples and Blades (one blade comes with it) are required and need to be ordered SEPARATELY. This is the larger Tapener Gun size.

In order for the Duratool machine to work effectively and efficiently it is critical that the user monitors the condition of the cutting blade.
If the blade begins to get blunt the user will struggle to cut the tape cleanly resulting in wasted time as well as tape.

Tapetools when not in use tend to be left hanging on trellising wires at night where they get wet or are left on the ground attracting dust. These factors shorten the life of these tools. In order to prevent this from happening we have designed a Leather Holster which fits snugly on ones belt, please see the Leather Holster photo above. |
